THIS IS THE DEAL TO MAKE.

    DHOW? for DNOW!

    ***For Lakers***

    Reuniting Nash with Dirk
Pau returns to his natural 5 spot (He's even more of a 5 man in D'Antoni offense)
Dirk is the Stretch 4 who can create his own offense.
Can't win with 29 year old Dwight in 2014 as your rebuilding centerpiece so why not go all in for this year and next with Dirk? 2 year window to get Kobe his 6th and 7th ring.
    Dirk/Pau >>>>> Bargnani/Howard or J. Smith/Howard

NASH KOBES MWP DIRK PAU = DEADLY

    ***For Dallas***

Rebuilds around 'the best center in the league' who is also 7 years younger
Dwight won't go to Dallas in free agency if he can get $20m more by resigning with the Lakers. Similarly, once Dwight lands in Dallas, he also won't leave because he'd have to leave $20m on the table to not resign with Dallas.
Dirk is fading as a standalone able to carry his team by himself type of star

If the Mavs had no other option then they'd be lucky to get that for Dirk. Sadly...Dirk holds little trade value at this point

Dwight ain't returning to the Lakers so Cuban doesn't have to trade Dirk for him.

Dwight will go back to the Lakers if you don't trade for him.. he can't leave $20m and his endorsements on the table. Plus it makes him look bad and hated. If he couldn't stomach leaving Orlando... how do you think he'll do trying to leave LA cleanly?

Plus once Dalls gets him, he can't sign with the Lakers even if he wanted to. No cap space in LA. Also no cap space in Brooklyn. He'd have to resign. Plus no state taxes in Dallas and it'll be fully his own team - not shared with Dirk or Kobe or anyone.

Honestly, I'm 100% sure Dwight would have resigned with Orlando if they never traded him. Where was he going to go? And he needs that extra $20m for child support wherever he is....

What do the Lakers have to lose at this point? Maybe the Mavs throw in Collison on the deal.

Less Tax in Texas for players remember. But big markets like L.A brings big endorsement contracts.

Lol can you imagine how bad the Lakers defense would be then? Take away their only good defender and place him with Dirk? lmao

    Mmmm....
I like the rebuilding with D12 in Dallas...not bad.
Is Dirk will onboard for this? (he has to be).

Dont know how good it is for the Lakers. I mean, if everybody is talking about Kobe not passing the ball now, imagine if Dirk finishes with 5 attemps in a game. Dirk is an offensive player and needs the ball.

I have an idea: Let's figure out a way to pull LA out of the hole they're in because in our hearts, we all really want them to win.

this surprisingly makes a lot of sense. except for the defense part. lakers already get raped every night on defense, giving up a HOF defensive center is going to get the lakers' asses pounded even harder.

And he's run with the 7 sec offense much better.
