fire Carlisle please
Matt Barnes continuing to make Mitch look like the overrated fool he is, tbh...
fire Carlisle please
Please do not compare Rick Carlisle to Robotman coach. That is an insult of epic proportions. Rick Carlisle is a proven winner and a championship winning coach. Can't say the same for Robotman.
Even the coach is one and done just like Nowitzki unforturnately![]()
Dallas
I have to agree with another fellow Mav poster here (not gonna say names or anything like that) who said that we'd still struggle when Dirk got back.
I know his legacy is basically done in Dallas but I didn't know he would completely stop giving a . There were many times where he would just stand still on help defense and his man would make a wide open jumper off a cross court pass and another time he turned it over and didn't even bother to run back.
Thanks for going into tank mode in the 4th, Dallas![]()
Other than Marion, Dirk has nothing to work with TBH. That's on Mark Cuban and Donnie Nelson.
Wasn't in Cuban's playbook to have Kidd back off on an agreement, Dwight to waive his ETO and DWill to be such a .
Shocking news.
I'm hearing rumors circulating this area that the Dallas franchise may have made a mistake in not resigning the services of a certain 7 footer who now resides in the New York area.
lol ESPN gushing about the Lakers, Magic "the mistake Metta made was he didn't give the ball to Kobe".
Same stupid takes, one guy says Kobe shoots too much, the other says Kobe needs to get the ball more. Metta missed a lay up. Giving the ball to Kobe wasn't the issue. Ah at least the Spurs got some side mention.
So Cuban rests his entire business on the decisions of hopefuls? Oh, and Kidd was the key. Got it.
Best closer
Good game, congrats.![]()
How was DWill a ? Cuban didn't show up to the Mavs' meeting with him and didn't offer him the max, so it shouldn't be a surprise that DWill went elsewhere, tbh....

"It's going to be tough now," Nowitzki said after the Mavs' home overtime loss to the Western Conference cellar-dwelling New Orleans Hornets. "I always liked to think you don't want to build your franchise on hope.
Only the stupid people would believe that . Cuban purged the payroll. He's a glorified fan who bought a team. He spent money and got a ring. He doesn't want to remain in the money for rings business, he's a rich man but he's not stupid. That's a game for larger markets that actually make a profit. He just sold that sob story to the fans after he sucked them in for season tickets. There's no uproar over it, it's just business as usual in Dallas. ESPN isn't doing exclusives, asking ex-Mavs how to fix the Mavs. Like SA, no one cares, which is evident if you look at the game recap of the LA/SA game. The entire article was about what LA did and did not do, and what they need to do. Even on this forum it seems to be the hive edict to fix the Lakers.
Personally I would like to see the Lakers fade away and be sold off. I would like to see Kobe ushered out AI style, riding the bench for sub-par teams (like LA), and eventually having his jersey retired in Turkey before selling everything he owns to pay child and spousal support.
