idk what ya'll are seeing but i think tiago is doing a decent job on z-bo
the grizzlies are a team that doesn't score all to many points, so putting together a 7 point run isn't exactly impossible for a good offensive team like the spurs

omgzzz bring in baynes already![]()
Just got home from work. We're down 8, so I assume 50% of the Spurs fans in here are already trying to commit Seppuku?
our guards are losing this game,
Gasol+Zbo= 14 pts/9rebs/3to in 39 minutes
TD+Splitter= 15 pts/8 rebs/4to in 32 minutes
we were great when gary neal was out fkn injured, he has destroyed what this team had going ever since coming back...
The inability to finish out quarters or halves, especially over the last few games, is becoming an increasingly frightening pattern.
Tim Duncan is way too critical to this team's success to continue playing as he has and us have a chance to win. I don't know what is wrong with him, but if it were any player other than Tim, people on this forum would be having fits.
This team is not losing because of Tony Parker. It is not losing because of Manu Ginobili. It is not losing because of Tiago Splitter. I do believe that out point guard situation has to be cleared up, but I also think we have to mix up our offense a little bit to be a bit less predictable. Everybody in the western hemisphere knows that when the spurs bring up the ball (at whatever pace they bring it up, that it goes first to Tim, then Tim decides whether to shoot or pass, and if he doesn't shoot then he looks to pass it to the wing, during which time the guards are circling around under the basket to come back and pick up the ball again. What that predictability means is that they can consistently pack the paint and play our passing lanes with certainty that they can break up our offense. And they are right!!
DAMMIT IM GONNA SAY IT, UNLEASH DA BEAST DEJUAN BLAIR LOL
Strangely no.
We were playing well (except Timmy who has been utterly atrocious) and the game was in the balance until a 15-4 run by the Grizzlies with 3-4mins to go in the half. Yet another failure at closing out the half. Ugh.
I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE THAT NOTICED THIS
Ok so I checked the score and Spurs were up 1 with like one minute to go in the second quarter, I check back and Grizzlies are up 8?![]()
You weren't alone. The bad posters/trolls are pretty in lockstep with you.
shades of 2010-11 playoffs when blair was replaced 4 dice ...... blair is the only big who can match physicalness with both gasol & randolph .......
oxymorons continue to give gary neal a free pass, like his still playin in his first year here fluking shots
pretty sure splitter had a couple of solid games late in that series when pop decided to play him
Green finishes at the basket !!!
Dude, stop with the Name-calling. This is a forum where people share their opinions.
Good start! Nice pass Timmy!
I've alreadty suggested giving Grizz some run against Z-Bo way back when Tim got his 2nd foul early in the first Q, but everyone seems to be ignoring my comments tongiht.![]()
Those kinds of foul calls are just ugh
And my opinion is that baselessly attacking every player we have aside from Duncan and Manu for 90% of the season gets old to read.
Really.
ing.
Fast.
So if you're going to criticize, stop spewing endless about a player and actually come up with some stats or evidence. Otherwise, I'm going to call you out for being a bad poster.
