bandwagon Broncos fan
The career of Ray Lewis comes to an end on Saturday in Denver. Flacco will be overwhelmed by Denver's relentless pass rush. I expect the Broncos balance attack to drive all over that Ravens D. I expect a 34-17 type of win with the Ravens getting a garbage TD in before the end.
The only thing that worries me is that the Broncos may be due for a let down, tbh..
On paper, the Broncos shouldn't have problems..Baltimore's defense is inconsistent and shaky, Manning has never had problems figuring them out, even at their peak..defensively, Flacco will be pressured all game, unlike vs. Indy..
Champ won't be on Torrey Smith?
I'd be surprised if he doesn't cover Boldin, especially after today's game..
Champ doesn't usually cover speed guys like Smith for more than a handful of plays..
Prior to four weeks ago, the Ravens have pretty much owned us. That alone scares me enough about this game.

Totally agree with you, but when you've been conditioned for failure as Broncos fans have been over the past 13 years, you come to expect it. I'm just being cautiously optimistic.
I can't envision any way there's an upset here. Manning has routinely penetrated the Ravens collective assholes over his career and already blew them out in Baltimore this season.
Given how much success the Colts had running the ball when they've been a well below average rushing team all year, and given how much success Moreno had against Baltimore a few weeks ago, Baltimore is gonna have to commit to stopping the run so there will be plenty of holes in the coverage. The fact Luck had 288 passing yards with 17 dropped balls and countless blown blocks is a bad sign for Baltimore's D. Unless Thomas, Decker and Stokley decide to drop every 3rd and 4th down pass thrown to them and Denver's O-line decides to not block Paul Kruger, Manning will have a 300+ yard, 2+ TD game wile Moreno registers 100+ rushing yards and 1+ TDs.

Ravens have sorely missed Lardarius Webb, who was rounding into one of the better CB's in the game. He became a legit #1 CB, and tackled like Antoine Winfield. If I'm Peyton I'm going after Williams early and often--that guy sucks something awful. Joe Flacco needs to play the game of his life, w/ much help from Suggs and Ngata on the other end. Hard to see that happening, so Denver 31, Baltimore 16
Remember at the beginning of the season when you said the broncos weren't for real?

I really don't see how Baltimore pulls this out, unless their D-line gets good penetration early and they rough Manning up with a few takedowns.
I don't see this game being close at all.
