The leash thing is dumb. No way I would ever treat my kid like a dog.
i was at the rim this weekend doing some shopping and noticed a lot of parents had their kids on leashes like this:
pardon my ignorance, but is this lazy parenting?i think children should be free to explore, not be attached to some leash like a dog.

Kori may know thing or two about this - Real Mom Debate
i'm with you fam.
All these white parents got their disobedient ass kids on leashes and can't figure out how to control them. Got 6 year olds screaming "No!" to their parents and calling their mom stupid in public. If they'd start beating that ass instead of putting their kids in timeout, they wouldn't have these issues. There will be no need for a leash when you go out in public because the little bas will know the consequences for him wandering off and acting like a re .
I've had this debate with the wife and we have come to the conclusion that the things we did as kids (say ride our bike by ourselves down three blocks at age 10 or so) is no longer considered safe in todays society. I am not sure if thats bad parenting or if the morale has degraded to the point where 1 out of 3 people you live near is bat crazy or a molestor. However, I still wouldnt walk my kid as a dog thats just degrading.
I've seen people with their kids on leashes and it hardly looks like treating their kid "like a dog"All the kids appear pretty well taken care of and I haven't seen anyone of them acting out of control as if the leash is the only way the kid can be maintained. So I figure it has to do more with the parents having a heightened level of paranoia about losing their kid, than actually needing a way to control them. As a parent, if kid is safe and doesn't seem neglected or abused, I don't really think it's any of my business how others take care of their kids.
Jag speaks the truth. Beat the out of the little er once and he/she will remember it next time they wanna act up.
Lazy parenting. If I acted up too much when I was a kid, I'd get the ol spanking or another punishment when we got home. After a while, I learned to not act like a jackass in public. Nowadays, you see teens acting like little kids all the time.
lazy, yes but at least their trying. its better than having the damn kid running around the store. or even worse talking to me.
sometimes you cant even enjoy places because there is too many damn kids running around and and their parents are no where around.
wtf is that gif from?
+1. FWIW, I can't recall a time where I've seen kids in a harness like this where they were acting up. Not saying it's some magical thing that solves all problems, but I'm not going to argue with parents doing something that works for them.
I don't think society has gotten morally worse or less safe.
What I think is that thanks to the internet and other technological advances, we are bombarded with bad news almost as fast as it happens.
We are much more paranoid now than we were 15+ years ago.
what the ?..this is a real thing?
..
My dad is an immigrant, he constantly beat me when I was out of line, and while Harlem isn't the nicest person, he has pretty good discipline, tbh..
Whenever I acted out in public, my mom would give me the "I'm gonna you up" look.
By then it's too late even if I behaved. We get back home 4 hours later I'm still getting whooped.
We need one of those for Avante.
Your kids NO!!!! Your woman? z yeah!!!!

lebomb has to tie his women up to keep them from leaving.
A leash? Or a straitjacket?!
Shock collar, tbh.
Yours stay because of the cuck in the next room.![]()
