Been getting my weekday morning coffee fix at the 24 hour Exxon station at the corner of Callaghan and I-10 for years. Pretty decent coffee at a good price and I could fill up my Bill Miller ice tea mug for under a dollar. The place was always busy and there was usually a line to checkout. Then they sold all the Tiger Marts to Speedy Stop. No major changes...still 24 hours and decent coffee at a decent price. Now they sold to 7-11... ers don't even open until 6am now and I'm already at work by then. Totally screwed up my coffee karma.![]()
what kind of a convenience store doesn't open up till 6am? The 7-11s in AZ are open 24/7.
Thats where the 7-11 name came from. Open at 7 and close at 11. Guess they should change their name now to 6-12.
Are there any QTs in Texas? They're basically any other convenience store on steroids. Since they started popping up in Tucson I've stopped going to any other convenience store.
Guess not. We have buckees.

holy , those look even nicer than QTs do.
lol to anyone who gets their coffee at a Stop & Rob
LOL @ broke s that pay $5 for a cup of coffee at Starbucks.
hopefully you buy gum as well, hate talking to ers with coffee breath.
I work at mid horizon and I10 (up the street from there). I didn't know that they are a 7-11 now. Maybe I will go get a slurpee (I haven't seen a 7-11 in ages).
The tiger marts have/had good coffee and good varieties of coffee for less than $2.
Why anyone pays around $5 for bitter starbucks coffee is beyond me.
They haven't changed anything yet except the hours. I asked the clerk last week why they had their lotto machine turned off...he told me they were selling to 7-11 effective the 14th.
Because it's SSOOOOOO good! At least that is what they always say.
Is that still a TigerMart on 281 by the airport? That's my favorite convenience store, best coffee ever!
just go to a ing valero
Valero coffee DOES suck even when it's free.
As far as I know Exxon sold all the tigermarts in SA to speedystop at one time. I'm not sure if Speedy stop sold all of them to 7-11 or just the ones by my house and office.
Don't you guys have Plaid Pantry?
The one by the airport should still be tiger mart. I'll check it out on my way home. I am pretty sure the one by Blossom is still Tiger mart.
When I don't leave the heavy lifting to Mr. Coffee there's a student run coffee shop on campus that kicks ass. Better prices than Starbucks and better tasting IMO. Only tried gas station coffee once. Can't even remember which chain it was, but it was ing awful. Never again.
Is that like a keurig machine or do you scoop coffee into it?
