With no CP3 to bail his team out against the Grizzlies, Vinny del Negro went with a somewhat unusual rotation. As expected, Eric Bledsoe started at the point but VDN used a big lineup of Crawford, Barnes, Hill, Odom, and Turiaf as his bench unit. That same unit built up big leads and IMO the reason VDN went big was to prevent Crawford being guarded by Tony Allen, instead letting him play against the smaller Mike Conley. It also helps that Hill and Odom are good passers for their position.

Eh, I wouldn't credit Vinny too much. Clippers are not only a deep team but they're all playing for one reason only. I've never seen a group as dedicated like this before in their awful history.

Houston was up by 1 at halftime tonight then 8 minutes later the Clippers are now beating them by a whopping 16 points lol. Bledsoe is just amazing and Jamal too. It would be a sad day once Bledsoe bolts for greener pastures though.

Would be tough for him. West is loaded with Westbrook, TP, Harden and even Stephen Curry possibly getting all the coaches votes.

It seems like CP3's teams always play pretty well when he's out. Weird phenomenon, tbh.

Clippers crominating these two games without CP3 have to hurt his MVP chances, IMO.

Well, Bledsoe HAS been learning under two all-time great point guards in CP3 and Chauncey, so it's not a surprise that he can fill in nicely in CP3's absence, tbh...

bledsoe always had high potential. surprised the hornets didn't insist on getting him for the CP3 trade. clippers probably have the best back up PGs in the NBA.

Reason teams play better without Chris Paul is because hes a ballhogger.

No he doesnt shoot alot. But he stops ball movement and slows down tempo because he hates turn overs.

Not really. CP3, Kobe, Harden, Parker, Westbrook, and Curry are better options.

Hornets were never good when CP3 was injured.

Clippers wouldn't give up Bledsoe unless CP3 signed an extension which he didn't do.

Bledsoe could start not just for any team in the league. Any top 5 teams in the league not named Spurs.

He wouldn't be as valuable in Miami because LeBron's still the primary handler and the role of the 1 in Miami's offense is to spread the floor and play off-ball.

He'd be great on the Knicks though, they need a slasher with Felton out.
