I don't troll (well, not often anyway).

Except for the last 4mins of the first half, and the last 2 of the 4th, we played far better than we have recently.

To say we didn;t play better tonight than the past 3 games is utterly wrong - we would've lost this by 20 if we'd played the way we have been.

But for a couple of 20fters by Arthur, we win this in regulation.

    I stand by my comments.
It's a step in the right direction, but the TOs and Timmy's struggles are reaching alarming levels imo. I see where you're coming from though.

We lost but played much better in doing it. That's really all I wanted to see.

You don't go from a slump to brilliant in one game - it takes a few. ANd this tells me we're coming out of the slump.
It was a very tough physical game, the Spurs where right there with them, should have one in regulation and also had their chances in overtime. I love that Splitter played tough, but in this kind of game the Spurs still went up weak at the rim. They need to go much stronger when going to the rim and not throw up weak shots that get blocked.

    what a bad week,

    Lose to 16th, bottom-of-West @NOH, who was 3 - 13 at home (our division)

Lucky to barely beat a depleted LAL AND @SA

Blow a 6 point lead in final minute to tie, then shoot 1-9 in OT @MEM (our division)

Memphis have now lost two in a row. They should be fired up against the Spurs. They got thrashed at home Vs the Clippers last night. Did anyone watch those two games they lost? Were the Grizzlies spent from the Spurs game or are the Spurs just playing that poorly?

Last night without Gay they struggled to put up points. The clips defended and clogged the paint well. Thought CP3 was out, Bledsoe filled in nicely and the Clips have more firepower.

The game against Dallas was definitely fatigue related. To go into OT with the Spurs then play the next night in Dallas, had upset written all over it.

I watched the Dallas game and it was clear that the Grizzlies were a bit tired. But thats not surprising because they played a very tight rotation against the Spurs. The Mavs jumped on the tired starters early and suddenly the Memphis coach dug much deeper into his bench than against the Spurs. Pretty obvious they were willing to sacrifice the Dallas game in order to win against the Spurs the night before.

About them Clippers ... I fear they are better than we all want to admit. They cannot be pushed around like the Spurs and completely took out the Memphis crowd.

Yeah, that sounds more inline about Memphis being tired. As for the Clippers game, I didn't even know Chris Paul was out. I just checked the scores today and the Clippers won again. I think they are legit, doesn't look like many people want to admit that, but they are legit. They're a top 3 team in the west, possibly better than the Spurs if the Spurs don't start playing better.

They easily dispatched the Rockets in Houston on the second night of a b2b without CP3 ... Grant Hill fitting in nicely as well
