I was thinking the same thing when I was reading the article. Maybe Lennay was the code name for that Ronaiah guy and how they communicated back and forth.
Where does David Stern fit into all of this?
Or Fred Matua who actually died this past Aug!
This is strange... I hope the whole real story comes out. Is Te'o really this dumb?

What a freakin' weird story. I'm hoping he's not so dumb that he actually got punk'd from a friend on this. I think he was either in on it from the beginning as an odd publicity stunt, or had a boyfriend who died from car accident/leukemia.
Te'o is a liar. Nobody is that stupid.
Given what we know about Notre Dame, it's easy to understand how they continue to confuse "willing participant" with "victim".
ND is tryin to cover up sexuality in a Catholic University!
