That's like, the gayest it gets really. Only a homer like Clipper wouldn't have a problem with it, I'm sure.

Stat padding at the ft line isn't something that the player controls.

That's not a flop, it just shouldn't have been a foul on Nene.... what do you expect Griffin to do, take Nene's elbow to the face?

I don't think his intention was to flop. Remember that's a slow motion gif so it looks bad, but Griffin was just protecting himself from getting an elbow to the face. It happened so quick that as soon as he realized Nene's elbow was not going to make any contact he grabbed Nene's arm for balance.

If Blake really wanted to flop, he would flop and fall on the floor (as we've seen him do before). This was not the case here. Watch the replay under normal speed and you'd see why he moved his head in that manner.

He definitely flinched. If you see someone as huge as Nene about to throw his elbows on you, you'd have to be Forrest Gump stupid not to make some sort of move to avoid it.

It's cool that you want to protect your player bro, but this was a pure flop.

To me these are flops. What Griffin did was a natural instinct. As a man, you simply move or duck, flinch etc when you see a huge and sharp elbow about to collide with your head.

C'mon man... it was a flop. Nene didn't even follow through with the elbow upon seeing Blake's face.

Your convictions for Blake are admirable but how can you see those as flops and not the one with Blake flopping?

I remember making excuses for Manu back in the day too but at some point you just gotta realized you're only lying to yourself.

Ive seen plenty of Blake and yes he is a certified flopper. But in this case, he wasnt flopping. He realized the elbow didnt connect so he grabbed nene's arm to balance himself. A flop to me would be him falling in the floor during that same play. He didnt.

no dude, he thought his elbow would at least graze him so he threw his head back viciously to make it seem like contact was made. take off the red and blue glasses

and gtfo out of here with this "if you saw someone as big as nene throwing elbows near you..." bull ,. I'm not a 6'10" physical specimen, Blake Griffin is, he shouldnt be such a massive pussy

Doesn't matter if you're 6'10 or a midget like Barrea. If theres an elbow swinging in your direction. A person with an average IQ would avoid getting hit with that .

Just stop defending Griffin, you look dumb. I see this exact situation happen every game in the NBA and most NBA players don't go viciously fling their heads backward. It's a move to create separation, and 99% of NBA players will either just move or take the hit and try to draw the foul, not flop like a massive got when the Nene didn't even follow through with his elbow. The look on his face says it all

And there's a difference between someone swinging their elbows to protect the ball and create separation and someone swinging an elbow to try and hit you in the face. Nene had no intention of connecting with Griffin's face, Blake is just a flopping piece of .
