at people on other boards who don't watch the skins calling griffin a run first QB. He leads thee league in completion percentage, yards per attempt, and is near the top in passer rating. He's a pocket passer that can run sort of like a Steve young
His high completion % is very Caucasian of him. It's impressive given that every other black QB can't even eclipse 60% completion

I somewhat agree, Lincoln. But if you watch - he still does a lot of dump passes that are well designed and guys run for several yards. He's a solid thrower, but it's not like he is what you call a "pocket" QB and he's not launching downfield like crazy either. He's accurate, but a lot of it is quick hits vs plays developing down field.
Some of that is on the scheme of the offense though which is ball control and sort of a west coast offense with short passes. He has taken a few shots downfield and the deep ball has looked pretty good.
But yeah he isn't exactly check down Charlie but most of his passes are between 10-20 yards. I think the Giants will keep him in the pocket this weekend so we will really see his passing skills.

i got the pats winning but i wouldn't mind being wrong.
Kap may have not ran much today but the defense having to pay attention to his legs opened up the run game for the RBs. So even though he didn't ball too much in this game his ball abilities helped win it.
I just hope the pats make it. I hate watching balt play and even though I want NE to lose, I at least want them in the SB over BAL for entertainment purposes.
