Big game, I guess it technically means nothing considering its being played in January.

Get to see how good the Clippers can be against the team team with the best record in the league.

Spurs 1/2 game back from both. Clippers or OKC loses we move up to 2nd ,in the west, for the 1st time in nearly a month. Spurs have a light schedule 10 of next 11 vs -.500 teams.

A strong showing 10-2, or 11-1 could help us get some separation.

We will also be second in the league considering just how bad the east is ( Spurs have 6 more wins ,33, than the #1 seed Heats 27)

The Clippers have played OKC pretty well ever since last year, would be big if the spurs could get the first seed only to make this matchup happen before the WCF, then again playing Memphis won't be fun for anyone, you're almost garanteed to have someone injured...

You won't really get to see that because the refs will make sure to hand the Thunderefs their usual 40 freebies, tbh...

Clips got a pretty favorable whistle most of today's game in Oakland. Whether they'll get that at home against WhistleKC remains to be seen.

finishin 2 or 3rd is not good for us, cause u still have to face LAC or OKC in the 2nd round.....

spurs much finish with 1st seed imo to avoid any of the 2 teams if they do finish 2 n 3rd seeding...will only meet them i n the wcf

The best outcome is Durant and Paul collide and their knees explode

The Clippers are gonna come out with their regular season swag and play with game 7 intensity.

The floppers will be out and about.

OKC loses they are 32-10 for a .76% win percentage
and the clippers improve theyre win percentage ahead of us

    that means it isnt guranteed
and monkeyball usually beats freethrowball for the past 2 seasons

Why don't we predict how many freebies are given to Durant. My guess is 20

Everyone is expecting the FT differential to be highly in favor of OKC.

the irony that will cloud this forum when flop city amasses more trips to the charity stripe.

Great game; wish I could watch. I really don't know who to root for (although OKC has the better record).

Either way, I think this game demonstrates why it is imperative that we get the 1 seed; better to watch these two teams beat each other up in the 2nd round than have to take them both down on the way to the Finals.

Fortunately, the Spurs have the easiest remaining schedule. 2 road games TOTAL in March while Miami goes on two long road trips in the same month.

Son, your soft-ass team gets to shoot 40+ free throws a night for being breathed on or looked at, you don't get to call us Flop City...

It's just a matter of time before Stern looks at the standings and figures out that kobe and co. aren't gonna make it this season, therefore turning his favortism towards the Clippers. The thunder are just a comfort zone for him to prevent the Spurs from making the finals.

To be fair to OKC, they don't really flop. They just get protection from the refs for the slightest contact.

Maybe that's why the Clips flop, because they can't get calls that easily?
