yep... last time the Lakers were sucking Stern allowed the mid-season theft of All-Star Pau Gasol for the rotting corpse of Kwame Brown and the unproven-not yet ripe younger Gasol brother. Marc obviously panned out, but that trade was still largely one-sided given the cir stances that season.Just wait until Stern works his magic...

Bottom line, they got Marc Gasol. He is like 5 years younger and appears to have higher ceiling as a true center than Pau as a Center being forced to played PF. That trade gets killed for no reason. I hate Stern as much as the next guy, but that trade can't be included especially when they aren't gonna make the post season and the Griz are going to finish no worse than 5th in the west.
The Lakers moved Vlade for Kobe you can't bash a trade immediately after it happens. Wait a couple of seasons and then go to town.
