I think Adele is a beautiful woman
Sometimes it's fun to look further back

I think Adele is a beautiful woman
I don't have any at all - not even one across town that I know of - and you won't know how much it sux til the ones in your town all close too.
The new releases are ok sometimes but after awhile - like right now - all the new releases suck ass - and there is nowhere to find a vast selection where you just might find a long lost movie that you missed before.
That's simply not true.
I, personally, like physical media. And I like the ritual of going to the video store and looking at box covers to figure out what I want to watch that night. It's why, despite having accounts with Netflix/Amazon/Hulu Plus, I still occasionally go to Blockbuster and will continue to do so for as long as I can. But I guarantee you there's not a single thing on a Blockbuster shelf that isn't also available from several other places.
Yeah I guess they want to force tough decisions on people if they ditch android for the Fires in the next year or so, and still keep the iOS people sated.
anybody remember AltaVista, lycos, etc?
Netflix streaming has a large selection of new and old TV shows as well as movies.
Furthermore, if you want an even bigger selection of les then you can sign on for the DVDs by mail.
yup, and how glorious the somethingawful forums used to be before lowtax had to boot all the pirates. Astalavista for cracks too.
....so you guys aren't messing with me, Chrome is better than firefox? Should I switch?
I think the browser wars are over -- all browsers are pretty damn good now
crofl somethingawful...remember Cliff Yablonksi's bit?
A mystery.
Netzero too. lol
ICQ ftw
I had problems with Firefox and switched to Chrome and haven't gone back. Been that way for three years or so now.
what kind of FF problems did you have?
It was bogging down really bad after a new release. I can't remember the exact issue it's been so long ago. It's probably fine now...but Chrome so fast, simple and clean looking that I never had the desire to go back.
Yep I had similar issues when I downloaded their latest version.
Everytime I went into a certain site it would crash so hard it would froze the computer for like up to a minute. FF is good for browsing but it sure does have its hard rooted issues.
Firefox takes regular s with flash content now. Chrome doesn't.They have gone with some nice 4G plans for those who access that way.
Yep. Absolutely.
Its always on sites that have flash players and whatnot. That is why I always use Chrome when watching videos.
Also the firefox add-ons seem to interfere with one another causing it to crash like a mother er.
I wonder if the one on Louisiana Ave. is going to survive though... that one's mine, although I rarely visit it anymore.
I go to that one or the one on Claiborne every now and then. Both look like they're knockin' on death's door, but I don't think I've ever gone into either and been the only person looking for movies, so they must be doing at least somewhat steady business.
That is a very valid question, my poor Mom who is somewhat technologically unsound still uses it and I can't help but laugh at the "You've got Mail" that they still use.
On another note, I'm sure ya'll still remember Proggies and Punters??![]()
