I have seen a steady stream of photos of great drummers at NAMM from a friend of mine working a drum gear booth -- and Eddie Van Halen might have a vested interest in showing up at the EVH booth which is there to encourage retailers to carry and sell EVH products.

Maybe you are right, I did go to a couple of those NAMM shows when I lived in L.A. (the show was in Anaheim) but never saw any celebrities - not that I cared - but you may be right.
