it's going to be a fire sale tbh. Garnett's going back to Minny, Pierce will have some mysterious surgery and just retire, and everyone else will be put on notice. Ainge is gonna rebuild around the dream that is post surgery Rondo and Jeff Gren.
Tbh I have no idea of what they want to do.

The slight silver lining for the Celtics is that Rondo sucked this year. He was basically just interested in assist streaks and triple-doubles. He didn't GAF about winning, IMO.

Bradley for Eric Bledsoe would make sense I think
Not happening... Bledsoe's trade value is MUCH higher than that...

Hate to see this happen to any player and fan base. I hope Rondo makes a full recovery.

not really. Maybe in Clipper fans minds, but after watching him be the man CPMVP out, he may have negative value tbh..

irrelevant injury. Celtics weren't doing anything this year anyway.

About as relevant as the Varejao injury in the grand scheme.

Just like late 80s Jordan tbh.

They're going with a Bradley/Lee/Pierce/Sullinger/Garnett lineup, tbh. IMO that puts more pressure on Pierce to make plays and he's playing gassed (hence the two crucial turnovers late against the Knicks).

Hopefully Jeff Green can spell Pierce occasionally. I'd be surprised if Lee started over JET, Lee has been just as inconsistent this year. And it'd be nice if Bass didn't let Sullingers production throw off his.

Lee has been far more consistent than Terry, at least he plays defense.

son Clay Bennett sold his soul to the Devil (J. Stern) so that his team wouldn't be affected by injury and get favorable whistles all the time.

He's a little overrated at this point but for some reason, GM's around the league are convinced that he's already a starter.... the widespread interest in him around the league will drive up the price on him in a trade scenario...

As if Miami's trip to the Finals couldn't get any easier. The Celtics were the one competent playoff team that could hypothetically give them a series. Not anymore, tbh.

The Knicks came back down to earth after JR Smith stopped shooting a flukeish 60% or whatever. The Pacers offense sucks. Brooklyn sucks. Thibodeau's coaching style only maximizes regular season wins.

The East this year is right there with the 2002 East as being the worst conference ever, IMO. That gives the Heat a huge advantage, unfortch.
Too bad they'll get annihilated by the gargantuan frontlines of whichever Western Conference team they meet in the Finals (Duncan / Splitter, Gasol / Randolph, Jordan / Griffin, Perkins / Ibaka).

He was overrated. Now that he's been seen, his value is surely down.

Damn that sucks for the C's. Rondo is probably my favorite PG in the league outside of Tony Parker. Sucks to see him go down. I wonder where the C's go from here now. At least we won't have to here about Rondo to OKC for Westbrook trades or Rondo to Lakers for bag of chips...
