If the Lakers and Spurs meet in the 2013 NBA playoffs and the Spurs win against the Lakers in 4, 5, 6, or 7, you have to pay me $500.

Considering they are evens at the bookies, why would I bother putting a bet on with someone on a forum? I could put the same $500 on at a bookmakers and they would actually pay up.

It's quite simple. I proposed a bet of $500 that the Lakers would make the playoffs, which you declined (after declaring they would miss the playoffs). I don't care what your sportsbook says, nobody does. You don't have faith in your convictions.
