What conditions? All bets by nature have a condition (if x happens, then y). He simply proposed two bets: 1) LA makes the playoffs & 2) If they happen to meet the Spurs, LA will win. Not sure why this is hard to understand.

tbh Spurs themselves when they play the Lakeshow for some reason so this may not be the greatest bet, even though they probably won't make the playoffs anyway. I don't really see how the Lakers putrid defense would slow down the Spurs at all though, and once Pop starts hacking Howard, he's going to meltdown.
