tbh, I would love for the Spurs to knock the Lakers out in Round 1, as would inevitably happen if they were to meet as an 1st and 8th seed, respectively. But I would love even more for the Lakers to miss the playoffs altogether, thus dealing Kobe's legacy a fatal blow.
We normally rape D'Antoni in Phoenix... but if we have to do it in LA, that can be arranged, tbh...

this game does show how much a cap situation affects things. fortunately for Lakers and us Harden is no longer with them, it's scary to think how much better the Thunder could be.

Spurs haven't won in almost 6 years and Spurfans still continue to boast...so there's no difference.
1st and 8th, 2nd and 7th, I'd take this Laker team as a playoff opponent in any capacity, honestly. That team is bad and it should feel bad for being bad. I don't know why any Lakerfan would be confident of their chances against the Spurs given the Lakers' utterly abysmal season (including two losses against the Spurs, one of which ended with Kobe making his characteristic game-losing defensive lapse).
Ya know what makes me mad the most about all this? The fact the kobe actually starts passing.. and the lakers win. SO WHAT WAS THE PROBLEM IN PAST SEASONS AND SO FAR THIS SEASON LAKER FANS?? Was it the coach? No. Was it Gasol being soft? No. Was it nash being out or Howard having no post moves or the lack of bench? No.
All this proves is that Kobe has been the reason the lakers have sucked, but instead of recognizing that, ESPN, laker fans and everyone else who doesnt have half a brain cell is going to praise Kobe. Saying how great is he and willing to pass the ball. Open your eyes people
