Marc Spears over at Yahoo Sports seems to think we're the #1 team right now. I don't think we've been ranked (grudgingly) at #1 in a power ranking for some time.

Love all the winning but don't like it when we attract too much attention. There's something to be said for flying under the radar.

Hollinger's formulaic ratings have also had us #1 at times this season.

Not the 1st time Stein has had us #1. Think it was 2 or 3 weeks ago we were on top and several earlier times this year as well. Believe me. The Coaches of the other 29 NBA teams are well aware of the Spurs, so what fans think doesnt matter.

I hate the Spurs being in the spotlight unless it's in the playoffs.

On another note, who else out there enjoys HD basketball on a big-ass plasma. LED sets just don't cut it for sports.

Wow, never seen the spurs ranked like that everywhere!! This is surreal how were still here I swear... Spurs took the phrase "well oiled machine" to a whole nother level. It's good to see the truth shine!! Pop and Duncan have been so good for so long and it's showing.

Spurs fans are never satisfied. The Spurs are "never getting enough mention/respect by the media" or "they're getting too much attention, I like it better when they're flying under the radar."

Spurs fans saying "I like it better when we're flying under the radar" is just a way to act like you don't care about not getting any media attention. I think everyone feels better when you get the recognition you deserve.
