Nah I don't think even Dok would go as far as to proclaim Jews as a race. Even if you were born into it, you can leave it and no longer be considered a Jew if you denounce the covenant. Jewish people have similar genetic traits because of the tribe structure.

As someone who works directly with children in the system I will say that while it is easy to say you want a child out of foster care it's much harder to do in reality. Most people go into it with the best intentions possible but don't understand the magnitude of what they are getting into. The majority of these kids have been removed from the home by CPS because they were abused or neglected in some way. This can cause severe behavior problems in the kids that the parents aren't prepared to handle. Deprogramming a kid that has behavior problems stemming from abuse or neglect can be a long process that can take years and requires a tremendous amount of patience and unconditional love.

So while I agree with your premise in theory, I don't think the foster kid adoption is right for everyone.

OK, then there are half of hundreds of thousands of kids in foster care that are babies or were removed too young to be psychologically ed up by their parents. There are many many adoptable kids in the foster system that have nothing wrong with them other than their parents were deadbeats/drug addicts/etc. the kids who suffered physical and sexual abuse, especially the boys, are the ones to be wary of.

Judaism is the one religion that's also a race. There's mounds of genetic research regarding this topic.

If I remember my WWII history correct, they did their homework and found out who was/wasn't Jewish.
