Lakers are living by the jumper this game. Calling it now. If the Wolves can cut the lead down to 17-20 points by the half, this will be a tight game come the 4th. Lakers need to go for the headshot now and try to balloon the lead up to 30.
I know Love is out, but the T-Wolves had that "team can sneak into the playoffs next season" look last year. They want back to top 5 lottery team this year.
Funny enough, the Wolves aren't rolling over and are actually playing decently. Not much you can do when the opposing team hits every jumper they take and shoots 10-13 from 3.

Doubt the Lakers lose this one. They learned their lesson against Phoenix. This is a new and primed Lakers team. 4-1 after tonights game. No way Kobe allows this Lakers to lose against a team that has lost 9 out of 10.

Problem for the Lakers going into the second half is they don't have anyone who can consistently penetrate. They've been outscored by 8 points in the paint despite being up 15. That jumper is going to have to continue to fall for them to hold on. And when legs are tired in the 4th, that's a tough task, especially for the older Lakers. With no Howard, Minny will relentlessly attack the paint and get higher percentage shots on average, so the stats favor them for the second half. That said, Kobe getting hot could put the game away, though.
