I started watching this again on Netflix. The first couple of season still have me lolling like its brand new comedy.

This season is like watching Iverson in Detroit.
Idk...Iverson in Detroit made me laugh.
They at least made Catherine Tate not as annoying this time around. Though the cast except Creed and Darryl makes me cringe.
Which is so sad to see what this show became. The Office at its peak was one of the best comedies of its time.
I'm guessing that's Nellie? And yeah, she's been brought back down to Earth thankfully
Yeah, her. She still a useless character but I don't feel the need to strangle the . That honor belongs to Pam now.
Yeah no . Crying because of one argument and the fact that Jim is trying to better himself and follow his passion at the same time? And then not recognize the same behaviors that Jim showed her when she was with Roy that the sound guy is now showing
I thought it was awesome that the original The Office went out at its peak instead of hanging on way too long. I still think it's far superior to the American one.
Pam needs therapy or to just hug it out with Jim. This season has been bad but it's not as bad as the abomination that was last season. One of the downfalls of The Office is the show has too many damn characters and a lot of those characters are either annoying or useless.
Pam's been useless ever since she and Jim hooked up. At least Jim was still funny until he became the annoying proud dad.
Yeah, Toby is completely worthless without Carrell there to constanty emasculate him, and Nelly should have never lasted more than an episode or two. The only characters consistently funny any more are Creed and Kevin.
Agreed.
They should have never paired this two so soon in the series. Once they became an item, their dynamic drastically changed and became boring and predictable.
That used to be its strength, before every one of them became a caricature. There is no normal anymore, just the most extreme characteristics of each character over and over, Dwight being the biggest example
Creed has probably been the most consistent character in the history of The Office. We don't know everything about him but we know enough which is good and he isn't being a camera and ing about his feelings and drama. He just does and says weird things which is awesome and hilarious.
That's cause that's the kinda character he is. Are you saying it would be better if all the characters were like that?
that's the problem. it's the quirkiness of all of those characters that made the show as strong as it was. with Michael there, you'd only see bits and pieces of each of the other characters which kept it
fresh. now they're trying to fill the void by giving all of these bit characters too much time and trying to develop them further than they originally planned.
oh Charlie...supple is the youth that folly pretends to be. whereupon we rest our laurels at the feet of giants...hoping...nay guessing of what it to be. is that all there is I ask you? wandering like sheep pennies
against the bitter snow. this and only this will allow us to read whilst gathering leagues of weights of dough.
just so we don't duplicate gifts...I'm giving your mom a for Valentine's Day. Industrial strength.
sheep penises
I have to go with the characters' screen time being more evenly spread out rather than picking out a few characters and giving them way too much screen time. Michael was the MVP of The Office in my opinion. He's gone so it's like the Bulls without Jordan or the Rockets without Hakeem.
Did anyone see the ad that was on Oscar's computer in tonight's episode? It was an ad for the do entary called The Office and it said "coming this May".
Didn't see the episode, but WTF are they doing to Andy? For a show that is so inconsistent, he's definitely the most inconsistent character on the show. How many versions of Andy are we going to get?
We've had suckup, anger management Andy. We've had sensitive Andy. We had quirky Andy. And now this obnoxious Andy.
I liked last night's ep. Dwight wasn't a ing cartoon character, Gabe's humor is classic Office imo, and the real estate boss being like Michael made it nostalgic. Also, I wouldn't go so far as to say Clark has saved the episodes he's been in but I will say he's been an awesome character
what about it? It makes me anticipate the finale more than ever now
He was great until post-Angela imo. At this point Andy is the character equivalent of someone with multiple botched plastic surgeries. It's a big ugly mess and it's still a work in progress
So no new Office for 3 months? No dates are listed for the next episode, save for the finale which will air in 3 months from now.
