Thunder lose Harden, Splitter emerges, Duncan's resurgence could all be false hope of the cruelest nature if that MRI comes back with an ACL tear, tbh..
the super bowl tomorrow, the results of that MRI is all I care about tomorrow
Could have happened any game.
This game, the next game, the previous game, you can't control it.
prepare for the worst tbh
this sucks so much, that looked real bad
Who? Me or Jeff McDonald?
Bad knee and major surgery could mean the end of his career.. ....
He'll be back this season. 4-6 weeks at most.
remove the "could" and replace with would and you have an accurate statement
Anyone have any idea what time of day they usually go in for the MRI?
i dropped my faith years ago but i'll be praying until his mri results are in
You look at it. Get past the initial shock and then watch Tim get up. He gets a lift from Blair and Jack, and before he evens leans on them, he takes 2 steps and then puts his arms over them. The link doesn't show it, but he does the walk to the back and as he gets to behind the curtain, he starts walking on his own. The look on his face doesn't show a steady menacing grimace, it shows relief. Again, I'm an optimist. GO TIM GO!
Sean Elliott is being optimistic on the post game show. I doubt he heard anything yet but let's hope...
I'm hopeful. But with things like this you just never know until the MRI. Everything else is pure speculation.
I really hope you are right, MIB.
This forum overall is just depressing to scroll through right now.
True but most guys do walk away under their own power after ACL tears.. I'm preparing for the worst and hoping for the best.
I am not ready for the wheels to fall off today.....even false hope is still hope, right?
ugh!
Small glimmer of hope even if it is the worst http://deadspin.com/5944550/how-did-...ith-a-torn-acl
Good point about the all star game. With regards to how much extra, I don't think there's an arbitrary rule. It's about good judgment.
Resting TD against the Wizards seems as comparably legitimate to me as resting him in back-to-back situations.
I think we've been "reasonable" enough these past few years with regards to piling up regular season wins.
Extending the Duncan years requires some outside-of-the-box thinking, and I applaud Pop's decision to rest TD against Miami as an example of that.
I would have like to have seen TD sat along those same lines tonight.
Hopefully its the ankle sprain that made him give that grimace look.
