FWIW, Webster was hanging around Timmy and looked genuinely concerned while he was on the floor. I wouldn't want to be the guy who ended a legend's career via injury either tbh.
Wiz HC Randy Wittman: "I just talked to the doctors and they said [Duncan] is going to be fine."

Whose doctors did he talk to?
Without that injury, the Spurs would've won by 40 easy.
MRI results can't come soon enough....
Everyone loves Duncan. He will be fine. Thats my (irrational) thinking. He has too good karma to go down with a serious injury, hopefully.
if the spurs secure a playoff spot, should just shut him down till the playoffs roll around....
Yeah, I'm sure he feels rotten about it, even though it wasn't his fault.
Praying for Duncan right now.
Wow. Just...Wow.
I'm about to throw up.
There was a tweet from J MacDonald (FWIW) indicating Duncan walked without crutches, wheelchair, or anything else tonight after the game. I hope that's true. The thought of a Martell Webster putting Duncan's NBA future in doubt just doesn't seem right.
finally saw the injury. i really hope that dip who fell on him wasn't intentionally being sloppy and reckless.
as for Timmy, i hope he can be okay, even take some time off. i don't care about seeding anymore, I just want everyone healthy and good to g.o. I just want Timmy to be like what he was at the beginning of the season for the playoffs.

Good lord you don't know the extent of the inury yet or anything and you are saying this already? Yeah that would be smart, shut him down so they fall to a later seed and get to play a very good team in round one! Good strategy.
Actually, I just thought Baynes should play tonight. I was 100% on wanting Baynes in uniform and 50/50 on Tim playing. Even if Tim played, Baynes may have been on the court at that point in the game instead. I still think it was a dumb move to not have Baynes suited up.
I will not under any cir stance change my opinion on Baynes being in uniform tonight. He would have gotten more NBA experience tonight.
He was also a good guy in 2000 but that didn't help him or us any then.
I don't give a about myself as a fan and how I feel right now. I hope Tim is OK because he works his ass off and plays hard every night. A great example to all. Overall, he is a great teammate and from what I see, person.
That is legit. They showed the video on the local news.
My brother tore his ACL and continued playing on it finished the game (softball ).
He'll be back in 5 games.
Odd source but I'll take any potentially good news right now![]()
I know but it was 13 years ago. Bad luck doesn't strike twice.
Just like Rondo.
Hope Tim's fine.
From Twitter:
WayneTBF @WayneTBF Baynes just went down hard and has coming limping. Doesn't look good.
I would say playing basketball with a torn ACL would be much harder than softball. But the notion that you can't put any weight on the knee is not true.
