Sounds good so far, lets hope that keeps up. If he misses a week or two thats a blessing right now IMO.
Never a good day when Timmy goes down. All we can do is hope for the best. Please, Please be OK Timmy....
Clearer video:
Most knees would have exploded if they bend at that angle. Gross video to watch, tbh.
I'm not too worried, but still...
Rondo tore his ACL and they only learned about it after the game, he played through it in Atlanta
That is really, really hard to watch.....
Just saw it on the re-run of the game, and it didn't look as ominous as it felt at the game. I didn't see it when it happened, but when I realized Tim was down it was pretty damn frightening. There was a dramatic shift in the vibe in that place. Agree, missing a week or two would be a blessing considering the worse case scenario.
Remember when the United Center held its breath when Rose went down?![]()
I think it was Parker who said in the interview video posted on the Spurs website that he hoped Tim would be back by the second half of the rodeo road trip. That seems a little overly optimistic to me, but it seemed like Parker thought it was a reasonable estimate. I hope Parker is right
Didn't look good... Baynes is injured too, Pop will play Bonner/Blair 35minutes/game
Ugh....just saw the "clearer video." Looked really bad...seeing him walk unaided once he got through the tunnel was encouraging on the re-run though.
Can someone add the video of him walking in the back?
even if duncan does decide to take a break and rehab that knee, i dont think its going to hurt him physically and mentally wise cause his been through it.....
he does alot of swimming, and swimming is good for those type of injuries when ur testing out the movements in those joints.....compared to testing it out on a physical surface...
might get this out in the open for the dumb noobs, duncan has a no trade clause in his contract b4 any of the noobs start makin threads about trading him
Yes, I do. Hoping for a better diagnosis. It's always bad seeing someone get injured....even the compe ion.
saw the vid. thats an acl if i have ever seen one. thats the season![]()
Pretty simple. It's either a tear or it ain't.
The season hangs in the balance.
Jesus... that clear video. Earlier when someone said the leg looked like it was at a 90 degree to the side, I thought they were overreacting, but no that's literally what it looks like.
I don't see how that's not a torn ligament.
The fact that he lands and bounces off webster might have actually saved him. If he would have kept going in the direction he was falling with all his weight down to the ground it would have been really bad, but he was able to fall forward after landing on webster. Webster's body kept him from turning that knee further in an awkward direction.
more like webster landing on him and rolling around tryin to sell a foul...
I tweeted that they should sit Baynes out just before the Toros tipped off about half an hour after Timmy got hurt.
Clearer video i don't see Webster as little mister innocent at all.
Asshat goes out of his way to continue his roll into Tims leg.
Barrel roll like a mfr. Dirt move on a weak ass take . FU Martell

He probably thought that he wasn't going to hurt Tim all that much but he started face first, he could have just went down straight. Webster's left leg first went around Tim's right. He should have just went straight down, he didn't really need to turn back towards Tim. Tim turns his back to him. If Tim is facing forward at the time, that same move is now probably a hyper-extension of Tim's knee. Again, I don't think the roll was neccesary. Martell is doing a great job of saying I'm sorry though.
Yes, but even if not a tear, rehabbing from a double sprain is going to be very challenging. Not optimistic.
