Hey I got an idea, how about Pop just start actually playing the guys that are going to give the spurs the best chance to win instead of endlessly ing around with these back and forth stupid short term call ups to the Dimwit league?
Excellent point. I move we wrap the whole team in newspaper and put them in a hermetically-sealed roughneck tupperware container in the garage until the ring ceremony.

Wow! Did you check at this very small college gym they are playing in?
You really never seem to get it. I'm afraid your ship has sailed.
So what am I missing again? Oh ya, that instead of giving Baynes the necessary minutes he would need to play himself into shape and put the turds on the bench with permanent DNP's he instead elects to send Baynes to the Dip league to learn terrible habits and put himself at serious risk of injury....
that sound about right, sweet-cakes?
I thought it was kinda stupid to send him to the D-League when we are playing the sucky teams in which he should have gotten playing time. But as always it is easy to look back and say should have would have etc...
Hey, I know you don't really watch the Spurs, but did you hear about Tim Duncan getting injured last night? And where in the did you hear about Toros players "learning terrible habits"? The Toros run the same system as the Spurs, and are coached by coaches hired under Pop and RC. The only "terrible habit", is your takes on basketball tbh.
I'm surprised Splitter hasn't been injured yet considering his past.
These guys are athletes, not children. They don't need to be coddled. Just as in baseball where someone goes down to the minors for a stint, the D-league is a good way to get a foreign player more accustomed to NBA rules and guidelines, and to learn the system. Duncan got hurt in an NBA game, same night. Every player on every team is hurt at some point. , Bonner was hurt. All the Captain Hindsight is just that, . They get into the system, a system that's proven to be the best in the league, and they take their chances. You and I can get hurt at work, doesn't mean we shouldn't go to work. It is what it is, no decision or person is to blame. It's a game after all.
I think Pop & RC need to get some better coaches then. Ones that can teach proper entry passes into the post.
In the nba you wouldn't see re ed entry passes lofted from the top of the key. You don't even see that type of stupidity at the high school level.
TJ, I'll never stop laughing at your senseless, impotent rage.
RC's Jayhawks say hi.
No kidding.
They need to get over themselves and just play guys that are going to play. I know I'm in the minority, but I have never liked and don't understand this over managing of minutes, resting games and d league send down / call-ups. I gome some credence to a certain extent but I just think Pop over does it. He especially keeps the training wheels on new guys for way to long.
Phil Jackson never pulled this stuff. He road his horses every year and they never seemed to get hurt outside of Shaq because he was fat and lazy. And if they did get hurt, then they got hurt because its part of the game and he moved with his coaching and let them play hurt if they felt they could go.
say what you want about Phils gravy training but dude ended up with 11 rings and owned Pop in the playoffs. I just have a feeling Pop wouldn't left MJ at the hotel with the flu, and sent Pippen home with his chronic bad back (tongue-in-cheek).
And I can't stand Phil Jackson!
It actually started out as the Jam's practice facility. They didn't draw well in the Rabobank Center, so they just started playing there.
how dare Pop use the development league to develop his new players

So when are we going to use the development league to develop our draft pick Ryan Richards?
.......this might win re ed post of the day.
When Richards develops the ability to not get fired from Europe's worst franchises?
Now that we have heard the good news about Timmy, I'm curious what the prognosis on Aron is?
Sorry should have color my statement in blue.
Nah... my cue awareness and reading comprehension just freeze up like the Tin Man when I drink.
Any updates on the injury? I've searched, but found nothing
this thread is being neglected.
i dunno why the nba neglects the dleague product, presentation and delivery of the product to the audience....looks like fkn and whatever they are playing in
dleague should be something better then ncaa, but it looks like ....
