i thought it will be only sprained knee at worst cause usually when it's a torn ligament it's on non contact plays when the knee just give up for no apparent reason(i would say maybe could happened when there is a lot of burden(load of the season) on someone player, or when a player is not in shape).

Thanks for the insight
For such a nasty looking injury, we seriously dodged a bullet.
Best case scenario I was thinking he was out 1-2 months. To say that hes day-to-day...unreal.
Glad TD is all good. I never like to see a hall of fame player on any team go down like that.
Impossible to know whether the brace prevented a more serious injury, or if it did anything at all. Seems to me it didn't help much. What's the point of a brace if it allows that much unnatural displacement?
We're not out of the woods yet. KG had a knee injury, came back, then was shut down for the rest of the season...
Is that the knee surgery due to bone spurs?
Go back and work on your jumpshot, you wanker. Your boy Hero Ball just clanked another stupid shot off the back iron and is now two-for-nine.
Nah, it was the 2009 injury... Started the season 27-3 or something...
Thank you God! First thing I did this morning was to check SpursTalk. Not stocks, not email, not the work schedule, not ESPN or CNN. Thank you SpursTalk.

I thought Tim stopped wearing the Punisher knee brace this season and switched over to a different, lighter one?
Priorities FTW![]()
So who starts the Church of Brace thread??
Yeah, the one in this thread with the flames on seems a bit lighter/skinnier to me and I think he wears this one. But all the others here swear on the Punisher brace ...![]()
This.
Duncan grew up as a swimmer.
The downside of swimmers is they can't jump. The upside is theis muscle and ligaments are more flexible.
That has probably more to do with the flexibility of his ligaments than the brace, in my opinion.
dan mccarney @danmccarneysaen Finishing up at Spurs practice, none other than Tim Duncan strolls out, looking no worse for wear, to put up a few shots.
Parker just said on his radio show that he thinks Duncan will miss the next 2 games and that Manu will miss 1 game.
San Antonio Spurs @spurs Manu Ginobili is doubtful for Wednesday's game with tightness in his left hamstring. Tim Duncan is day to day with a sore left knee.
That would be amazing if that's all the time they missed.![]()
Literally just saw this was posted on Twitter and you'd already put it up. You're on top of your game! Kudos
And great to see Timmy back at it. Hope they don't rush him back though..
I'm sure the Spurs will be extra careful with him. They wouldn't have him at practice (even just taking a few shots) if he wasn't in a good place to do so.
Great sight to see.
