I never saw a player falling in disgrace so quickly as Neal in ST.

Haha I suppose Neal does this to himself with his historically horrible defense.

Well Neal is the best guard at drawing charges and a big part of that is putting yourself in this kind of situations. The guys is ballsy on both ends, it's impossible for me to hate him tbh.

He is limited but I really like him as a person.

I guess I don't feel sorry for him. Sometimes he tries to take a charge and doesn't succeed. Getting dunked on doesn't seem anywhere near as embarrassing as it is sensationalized to be. Everyone who has ever played consistent minutes in the NBA has been dunked on at some point.

His bricks count for 0 points, though.

Revisionist history, you were more than willing when you got double teamed, that was proven in court.

He was undrafted, has secured a spot on our teams rotation, playing a game that I love and Im sure he does also and is getting paid a million dollars, so he gets dunked on, what's to feel sorry about.

Sorry, but the distinction of being the best Spurs guard at drawing charges belongs to Patty. Patty flops so convincingly that he's never ever been given a warning for it (except in the NBL, but that doesn't count).

Out of all those times, how many times did the spurs lose? I know with the jr smith one, manu got the charge call on melo at the very last second that got us the win.

For that money, anyone here would get dunked on repeatedly. Some of you get on on the regular at work for minimum wage.

OMG paranoid pop actually said something decent about Neal. Now all we have to do is get him to recognize green is really a pretty decent shooting guard, though not great and we've got a decent day.

    BRICK!!!

Down to 41% shooting now and after his next brickfest Wednesday, he'll fall to 40% shooting. Pretty pathetic tbh, especially since he does absolutely nothing else well. He doesn't get to the FT line. He doesn't play defense. He doesn't create plays for others. His chubby fatass just jacks up heroes and prays that they go in.

his cheap contract makes his mistakes easier to handle. anything good he gives us is bonus. plus when he is on he is a great player to have around. i will agree he is definitely slumping lately though.

quoting Neals field goal percentage is a really inaccurate way to say hes inefficient
youre not considering the fact that hes primarily a mid range/3 point shooter where a greater than 40% 3 pt field goal percentage is elite
and 45% from mid range is also very good
Neals at 38% overall from 3 and 43% from midrange
he also gets barely any shots at the rim to pad his field goal percentage numbers
Manu and Neal are the only 2 players on the team who can make a elbow/straight on 3 pointer
and neal is the only one who can run off screens and hit the mid range and 3 pointer especially with a quick release while on the move

considering hes had a bad shooting season, if he ever finds his touch easily be one of the best shooters in the league and well worth a minimum contract

True. If we were to trade him, teams would jump on the chance to obtain him due to what he brings for the relatively small amount that he would demand.
