we used to do the expensive gifts/fancy dinners routine, but now for our family it's about the small stuff like a dinner with friends and family. if you're young, go big-time. but for old folks like me, enjoy the time with the people that you love.

Valentine's Day has never been a big deal to me (I think it probably means less to most women than men think it does), so I never expect anything. But I always end up receiving something from someone special and it's very sweet.

Well actually I suppose I do expect something.....every year since I can remember I've gotten a giant lacey heart full of candy from my Dad So this year I will spend my Valentine's Day week with him helping him recover from the heart procedure he is having next week.
