Mavs: OKC is destroying Dallas

The difference between the Mavs and Spurs is that the Spurs have drafted well despite always having only late 20's picks in the first round. The Mavs haven't had a draft pick pan out since Josh Howard and it's catching up to them.

Not to mention they do a ty job of developing them once they're drafted. Carlisle's treatment of Beaubois and then signing the corpse of Mike James instead of giving Cunningham a chance when they're obviously rebuilding.

This team isn't making the playoffs so I don't understand giving minutes to a guy like Mike James over playing youngsters. I'd actually like them to tank the rest of the season so we can get a top 10 pick. That's more valuable than somehow sneaking in as an 8 seed to get curbstomped by OKC, San Antonio or the Clippers.
