This is a career-high for Danny Green right?
Leonard channeling the spirit of Terry mings with the double-double.
This is a career-high for Danny Green right?
dr.lee and dr.ley sitting next to duncan on the bench lmao..
Yes. In points and 3 pointers made.
Why? I never said he can't shoot. He clearly can. But he's a horror on the break, can't make a layup, has no pull-up, and his D is spotty.
Indeed!.. One more 3 and it will the most 3s for the Spurs in a game since Chuck Person scored 9/14 in 1997 against the Vancouver Grizzlies!
Stop the presses!
Jon Barry is a ing
carry on
The half dozen or so people in this thread that were getting the vapors ever time Green made a mistake. Not making any/very few mistakes = superstar or all nba role player. Players can be good even though they're not on that level.
Yeah, I made an unfair comment about Green being a bad SG, though I was also referring to Neal. But your point is what I wanted to get across. I just hope the Spurs aren't in that position which could be possible.
Breakout game?
He got hot! That's what good 3pt shooters do.
You're conveniently ignoring his ups.
He's had a good 4th Q, hit some shots, but you see him doing this against OKC when the season is on the line?
I am not and have never been a Green hater. I am glad he was re-signed, but he has some glaring weaknesses in his game, and they're not going away.
He got heat because he made very silly mistakes... he also got props for his 3 point shooting at the same time... the whole 'hate' at Green is silly... Bonner is certainly hated, but Green just can play better... we all know he can (not shooting, but everything else)
To put it into perspective, the Spurs once had guys like Roger Mason Jr., post 2008- Michael Finley, and Keith Bogans as their starting SG's so the Spurs could be worse off than Danny Green.
Really good last 4 mins. Excellent passing for easy buckets, good D.
Splitter playing well to end the game. Collectively this current run seems like it was just a matter of time.
The playoffs are where reputations are made or broken. It remains to be seen if Green has the ability to perform in the post season. Regular season beast games are fun, but that's about it.
Yeah.. And you want a mistake-free superstar for $3mil.
If your point is Green can improve within his ceiling, that is well taken. But if your point is Green is wasteful and hurts the team, then you are pretty much ed up. It is not just "oh he just hits the threes". He has hit 8 threes in the game. Its no ing joke in the NBA.
Of course he has weaknesses in his game, he's a role player not Manu Ginobili. You're gonna give up on a kid because he had a bad series in which pretty much every Spur was subpar after Game 2.
