You left the interpretation of utopia open. People can define it as they wish. I can certainly understand how folks would define utopia as crime free by definition. You'll probably have to start a new thread to rein it in.

We have different definitions then of an armed society. The West will need the East's help to deal with all the armed criminals taking advantage of the West's unarmed citizens.
The West's law enforcement would be extremely weak as well because it would be made up primarily of gun fearing citizens, 98% percent of former LEO moved to the East because they realize the importance of being armed, plus they also just like to shoot guns for fun. In fact I'm not sure the West would even be able to sustain any armed law enforcement because of their fear of evil guns.
That's up to the West if they want to build a wall. I would advise it because you know the illegal immigrants and welfare recipients will want to be wherever the Democrats are giving out free handouts.
