Tbh, I hate both sides of this argument. The Native Americans who use stuff that happened generations ago as an excuse to live off the government and do nothing but drink and eat peanut butter all day are an annoying liability to society. As DD already mentioned, the guy in that vid prolly gets countless en lements largely cause he's a native american.
Meanwhile, the other side of the argument is the group of people in this country who constantly revise history because they can't stand the idea that America did something wrong. America took the Indians land and used manifest destiny as an excuse to commit genocide against millions of people, and we wouldn't be the world power we are today if we didn't brutally trample over the Native Americans till we reached the pacific ocean. That's a reality people need to accept and be informed on before they jerk off to the fairytale version of American history they believe, but it's nothing current day Americans need to take responsibility for.
The Mayans wouldn't have but one of the many other imperialistic countries at the time (England, France, etc.) would have if America didn't first. The Native Americans and their land getting conquered or colonized was inevitable, just like the Aztec and Mayan Empires South of the Native Americans.
