Jordan had insane work ethic and discipline. I cant imagine him going out on a drinking binge like that.

I can, but does that make his flu-game any less impressive? Not saying I buy Jalen 100% but we already know Jordan stayed out late gambling and smoking cigars BEFORE playoff games vs the Knicks I believe it was a ECF, most guys when they gamble ...they drink. if he lost then it would be a story ... this just adds to his legend. We already know MJ was an asshole and was not the most honorable citizen or team-mate but he won his way ... I think these type of stories ae interesting because MJ is lionized both on and off the court but his 6 rings and GOAT status are all that matter.

As the only member of this site that was in attendance for the flu game, I'd honestly be more impressed with Jordan if he was hungover instead of having the flu. Either way, it doesn't change the fact that I left the arena feeling like .

The "flu game" started at 9:00 EST. Local game time was 8pm. If Jordan had a hangover from the day before, it must have been aciously bad to affect him all the way to the game's conclusion around 11pm and still need to have him carried off the court. For it to be that bad, dude must have had a Jaeger IV drip the night before, and if that's the case, well , it makes his game all the more impressive. When I drink that much I am absolutely useless the next day, a Jabba the Hutt level of invalidity.

Great points ... not saying I believe JAlen for the record ... just saying the scenario (not that game) of MJ playing a game hungover is plausible. Obviously that particular game the facts dont line up. I think these type of stories is like gossip at any work place or even more so a locker-room. MJ probably platyed a game hung over but probably not THIS one. But when those lot of their time on their hands niccas get a hold of the story ...they fudge the details when re-telling it ...and obviously Jalen is nowhere near an investigative reporter. So he shares it like it is sourced when he probably heard it on a plane over a card game ...

Again who cares? MJ owned the league while gambling, tearing through white women, expanding his brand ... he still won.

Jalen Rose is a ty analyst, and seems a little butthurt that MJ ruled the league while Rose was still playing. Whether MJ was really sick or hungover, who cares...it was a BEAST performance that will always be remembered...
