    Wow.

Well, I can't disagree. Pop is there in the locker room and he knows if Parker needs rest. That was a great effort last night and Parker has been carrying a massive load lately. Buying him some rest and limiting the risk of injury is probably a smart move around the All-Star break.

Oh, and it's good to see that Pop isn't flinching about resting his guys when he deems it necessary.

Hopefully, Patty Mills gets significant minutes to show what he's capable of.

Stern will talk about sending NBA doctors to check fake injuries when the whole big 3 will have a knee swelling

That leaves us with De Colo, Mills, Neal, Green, Kawhi, Diaw, Bonner, Blair, Splitter, and Baynes. 20+ point loss anyone?

Let's just hope that TP's "knee swelling" is 100% bogus.

Pop tanks against the good teams
Of course he does. He's playing it smart. Why rest against crappy teams and reduce the chance to win what should be gimme games, and then still risk losing against good teams in what would be rough games even at full strength? As is, he goes all out against teams we have the best odds of beating to ensure the most wins at the end of the season.

On Facebook the Spurs referred to it as a "right knee contusion."

If Pop starts Neal I will be pretty upset. He's done nothing to deserve it and Patty deserves his shot (pun intended).

I like it. Tom Thibidouex won't change his team's style of play and this team has to just trust the SYSTEM. If they lose, they lose but they have to show Pop that they believe.

Jeff McDonald ‏@JMcDonald_SAEN Pop on Parker's right knee: "He iced it all during the (BKN) game, which I did not notice ever. And then it swelled up."

    Jeff McDonald ‏@JMcDonald_SAEN
More Pop on Parker: "I'm not going to chance it ... With what he's been doing for us, it's kind of ignorant to say go out there anyway."

Didn't a similar team end up losing to the Heat by only 5 points?
