It's not about looking at what has happened, but using that data to predict the future. The rebounding (or lack thereof) will be their undoing tonight.

Close game in Charlotte, for those of you interested
Why would we be interested in two Eastern Conference teams that are down the ladder?

Bulls' box score reads funny.. 11 offensive rebounds, but just 36 shots as opposed to 42 for the Spurs. 7 steals for the Spurs.
They were gifted a zillion free throws

Turnovers have cancelled out their offensive board.

If they take care of the ball in the 2nd half they'll win the game, cos there's no way we're keeping them off the offensive glass

What the do you want with our 3 best players off the court?
Rebounding is about effort, being totally demolished like that, especially our bigs, that's just unacceptable. Noah & Boozer don't really tower over Splitter & Diaw, but they just rape us on the board so far.

It might be, but look at the reality of the situation. Spurs sans Tim, TP and Manu will have limited rotations and let downs. These aren't supposed to be perfectly executed games - it's just about doing everything you can to win.

The best rebounding big is on the bench and Bonner/Blair always suck at rebounding. Why is this a surprise?

The Bulls have been head and shoulders the best offensive rebounding team in the NBA for 4 years now & we're missing Tim. Chill.

Splitter is on pace for 8 rebounds which isn't bad considering we're shooting over 50%. Diaw is not used to starting let alone playing in the role he is. These things happen. Noah and Boozer both rebound really, really well.

If the Spurs maintain this pace and the game is decided in clutch time, I hope Kawhi is given the opportunity to close a game, rather than Neal chucking(despite his many clutch moments), tbh..

Also, I'll echo most fans in here..it would be nice to give Baynes a shot for rebounding purposes..

Sure it's about effort, but nobody gives more effort than Noah and Gibson. Throw in Deng being boxed out by Gary Neal and there's nothing we can do.

There's no way we can beat them on the boards in this game, they just have a much bigger, better front line.
