If we're talking about overall worst, it's probably a lot of players you've never heard of. Dudes that sucked the bottom of the bench on scrub teams in the 70s for a total of 1-2 seasons before getting tossed.
If we're talking talent/expectation level, it's much more interesting. Excluding injuries since that doesn't necessarily mean a player was "bad", but unable to play.
Darko obviously has to be in the conversation. Kwame Brown. Bowie. Darius Miles -- some people might not remember how hyped that kid was. All-rookie in his first year after going pro from a prep school, and had a ton of talent. Dude put up 45+ in one game, but never materialized into anything great and fought with all his coaches.
Kwamr is a solid defensive player. Just don't ask him to score buckets and he's pretty useful. Fwiw, Kwame is what the Lakers need rigjt now as funny as it sounds.
