Homer pick: Spurs vs Knicks
What I think will happen: Heat vs Thunder*
I barely chose the Thunder to represent the West. If they still had Harden, they would easily make the Finals.
Pop has pretty much ditched Blair. Bonner also isn't in the rotation. Neal needs to be demoted to 3rd string SG.

Both would require a Lebron injury ... Spurs have the better team but Knicks have a star that can catch fire and drop 40 to win a game. I say their chances are equal also because West is a tougher than the East and an upset more plausible ...
My % doesnt mean the teams are equal I just think they have equal chances to win based on lot's of factors ...
Can you swear to me that Pop won't play the turd towers in the playoffs with Neal running point? I can't take that risk![]()
LOL well we barely saw that lineup when the team was fully healthy. But it is possible. Personally, I hope all 3 are traded.
Heat: 50%
Thunder: 20%
Spurs: 15%
Clippers: 7.5%
Lakers: 5%
Knicks: 2%
The field: 0.5%
Miami wins it all as long as health is not their enemy. The West is wide open after OKC dealt Harden for crappy draft picks and a major downgrade replacement in Kevin Martin.
Your stupidity is amazing
Let me ask you this smart guy who has an easier path to the conference Finals Spurs or Knicks?
Again like I said not saying Knicks are better than the Spurs or even equal to the Spurs but there are less teams in the East for the Knicks to deal with than the Spurs will face in the West ...or do you think the conferences are equal?
Wouldn't Stern and his minions want a rematch? Wouldn't they want a rematch and for the Thunder to win this year so they can set up a rubber match Finals in 2014?
I think the spurs have an easier path to the finals. The first two rounds should be easy (if they get the 1 seed). The WCF will be a toss up.
Knicks could lose to the pacers or the Heat or even Chicago (if Rose comes back). And they wont beat the heat.
But if they do, they have ZERO chance to beat the Thunder or Spurs.
And before you say anything, I know they are 2-0 vs the spurs this year but spurs could take them in 5 no problem.
BTW, Cleveland was 2-0 vs the Spurs before we LeBroomed them
Finals Odds
Heat vs OKC (w/Harden 75%)
Heat vs OKC (w/o Harden 50%)
Heat vs Spurs 50%
The problem I have with the Clippers, is that they will have to beat OKC, SAS and MIA in order to be the champs...in what? 30-40 days?
Not easy.
I just hope the NYK take the East Finals to 7 games against MIA.
The two best teams are for sure the Thunder and Heat. But there's a lot of games to be played from now until the conference finals. Injuries happen and if they do, the Spurs may have a shot.
True, but the 90s weren't made up of superstar teams besides the late 90s Rockettes. Other than that, most great teams in the 90s were balanced in almost every way. Some offense, some defense, some scrubs, some enforcers, some stars and some shooters.
Magic: Shaq/Penny
Bulls: Jordan/Pippen (Batman and Robin)
Knicks: Ewing/Starks
Spurs: Robinson/Elliotttt
Suns: Barkley/KJ
Jazz: Stockton/Malone
Warriors: Utep2Step/CWebb
Pacers: Miller/Smits
God I miss 90s bball. So balanced.
spurs will be a serious challenger this year imho. they got beaten in the hands of OKC last year but they ain't losing to the same team 2 years in a row
Rematch of last year, same result. Would love to say the Spurs will be there but I don't think they can beat OKC in 7 games. They blew their chance last year.
