Wow, if I rolled my ankle like that I'd be in traction today. Dude sucked it up, got up, and didn't look to come out of the game, he ran down court to do his job. He has turned out to be a real iron man for us. Must have been frustrating in years past when he was oft-injured. Add to that his improvement at the free throw line, and he's turned out to be quite a gem! the Spurs really know how to find a diamond in the rough. I hope Mr. Baynes gets some minutes/development time tonight.

Splitter has finally gotten a secure spot in the rotation and consistent playing time. Even he has professed that, as a result, he feels more "at home".

His leg could probably fall off at this point, and he would still hop around the court before giving Pop an excuse to put him back on the pine.

Splitter, Kawhi, and Nando all are growing into their roles, the Spurs plays, and in confidence.

And they all play very serious, and cool. no show biz bull .

His soft ass finishes earlier in the season have mostly evaporated, thank Jeebus.

Yes, having those a thing of the past has been GREAT. Now if we can just get Danny Green to learn how to finish at the rim..

I'd be happy with the layups.

To be fair he has been great from beyond the arc this season. 43% for the season and last 6 games he is 25/40 what is 62,5%.

Speaking of Hedo looks like he's been eating some laced pizza

Anyway Splitter's been great although watching him fight for boards makes me cringe

Splitter is a whole new player this year, both physically and mentally tougher than his first two seasons.

It's a credit to him for growing as a player, but it also just goes to show (yet again!) that Pop knows what he's doing when it comes to player development - he wasn't ready for the big role before, but he certainly is now.

Splitters hasnt been injury prone since hes been here
hes had minor injuries here and there and Pop used it as an excuse to not play him when he could
also limited his minutes for absolutely no reason
missing training camp combined with his hard on for a certain ginger was the only thing stopping him
but pop is too arrogant to let something meaningless like not playing in a training camp affect his decision to play Splitter

small injuries such as sprained wrist or whatever hes supposedly had wasnt enough to hold him out for long stretches like Pop did
and what injury is DNP-CD btw
Tiago racked a lot of those up

Since Tiago's FT improvement he's been more confident in attacking the rim since he now seeks contact as opposed to avoiding it.

he shot 70% last season lets not act like that isnt elite for a center today
and you said his aggressiveness from improved free throw shooting resulted in more contact/fouls
    stats say the exact opposite
hes regressed in fta since his rookie season
has nothing to do with free throw improvement
attacking the rim has more to do with actually getting playing time now
