Also, another rare smile from KL. I love this kid more and more the more I watch him play!

Scott Van Pelt gave the Spurs some dap tonight on Sports Center. Thought I'd share seeing as how rare it is to see on ESPN (although SVP always shows the Spurs love on his talk show). Sorry for the poor quality.

They like us, they really like us!
Seriously though, the man spoke the truth. Spurs should be leading off segments, if quality was more highly regarded that is.
Thanks for posting. I thought it was weak that the highlights didn't start until the fourth quarter though.. gotta save more time for gay like Manti Teo, etc..
Spurs still won't get much coverage despite SVP's comments. The only coverage we'll get is "experts" writing the Spurs off by citing the last two postseasons. They will only finally give them props after they win (if they win), but even that will barely last a few days to a week before they go back to saying like "swan song", "Spurs are done now".
Spurs will never get real props until Duncan retires.
Is there a video of the interview of KL?
Good on you, SVP, as always![]()
This , anybody ? somebody? pls pls pls
I'm glad Waiters feels bad. That's what he gets for almost winning.![]()
Sean and Bill actually got KL to LAUGH by telling him to shoot every time he got the ball in the Rising Stars game this weekend.![]()

Surprising to see on ESPN. I guess SVP has some clout to give his opinion now. True to form, the Spurs got bumped by the next Sportscenter. By this morning, one ESPN anchor was whining about Parker "manhandling" Irving.
