Somewhere from 70 to 80%, and I don't "care" because of records for anything, but I do think that it sucks that these players will feel the need to take drugs that can destroy their body long-term just to compete.
You know eventually one of these days some do ent/testimony/whatever will come out implicating a lot of high-profile NBA players. Would it change your opinion of players today, or are you just sick of hearing it and/or numb to it? If Duncan's resurgent play (before injury) was found to be assisted by PED's, would you feel any differently about him? Ditto for Bean and anybody else you wanna fill in the blank with. I personally wouldn't give a b/c I'm resigned to the fact that PED's are almost a necessity in today's sports, but curious how others think about it.

Troll in me: I don't care, all that matters is victory and socialism.
Fan in me: I hope the players that use PED's rot in and are inmediately suspended long term. So much for good examples to the kids...
Why does anyone give a ? I don't care at all if athletes are injecting themselves with gross to get ahead, as long as they don't whine about the physical consequences of that decision after their playing days are over, tbh...
league is already rigged.... PEDs don't do much worse
Honestly don't give a . In fact, I hope they do. I want to be entertained, and if that means the athlete feels pressure to take risky substances to heal faster, perform better, whatever, so be it. Isn't Viagra a PED? Sure it is. So is coke.
I don't even care if they whine about it as long as the taxpayer doesn't have to support them when they Dennis Rodman themselves into poverty.
I really don't think it would be that high a %. At least not among the superstars anyway... Most NBA players care about getting $paid$ more than winning games. The risk of using PEDs it just to high. Get suspended and you lose your salary. It's different for other sports, where you HAVE to win to get the sponsorship $$$.
And using PEDs is not going to make you a better shooter, passer or ball handler or imporove your moves in the post. PEDs help you recover quicker. That's it. For the NBA player, that advantage is not worth the risk.
80%
yes I do care but I wouldn't be mad at the players. The nba schedule is just ing insane. 82 games in 6 months is totally irresponsible. I would be pissed at stern or whatever officials taking a hit at these players while primary reason they are doing it is because of their (the official) basketball reasons. They don't give a about sport or player health, they just give a about $$$
95+% IMO..
If an athlete hasn't used PEDs, he isn't fully dedicated IMO..
PEDs does not have to be HGH or heavy testosterone..they could be mild PEDs for recovery, it could be for a slight gain in speed, etc..taking PEDs doesn't change the fact that you still need to work hard and diet, but athletes should always look for an edge..
Personally, I was offered a starting spot on a top Canadian university team and could have walked on at St. John's a few years ago(I posted about it here at the time, IIRC), and during that time, I was taking Anavar, which is arguably the mildest form of steroids/PEDs..just taking that alone allowed me to cut my weight down without losing virtually any muscle, which aided a gain in speed/vertical..
These guys can afford top-quality and they probably have access to undetectable , too..it's all part of the sports grind..
PEDs keep you faster for longer. It's that 44th minute burst of speed to outrace your opponent to the rim and score the winning basket or get a rebound. NBA is all about speed and strength, especially for bigs.
Exactly, you pretty much HAVE to do it now. NBA players (and pro athletes in general) aren't the brightest guys in the world, and their options are limited outside of the sport. They know they have a finite window of time (10 years if you're lucky) to make all the money they will earn in their lifetime--so they'll do whatever they can to maximize that window. If you're a young kid trying to get in the NBA, those PED's might be the difference between you making a roster or flipping burgers. If you're aging, you want to recover faster, make one last run, maybe try to play yourself into another contract, etc. We all know the incentives to using them. There just isn't enough incentive to not use them.
82 game season playing 40 minutes a game...yeah a lot of players take them.
Lebron and Blake Griffin that's it...
Gotdamn lie. Only be injectin himself with bull is that snitch ass mother a you got in LA. There a reason never injured, and ain't got a gotdamn thing to do with his fake toughness. That fool be on HGH like you be on .
Hey, homie, what you think about Kobe's last game? 2 points. How a play an entire game and only score two in' points?
you still ing your mama down?
Best playa in the world gonna play in 20 minutes. You sit your punkass down and watch how Bron handle business. Kobe prolly gonna get lit up again by CP3.
Sup homie.
Hangin out and gettin them knuckles hard really to turn this punk ass Kool's face into some burrito filling. Been trying to get this to see me in the real for a minute and he too scared to step up and take his beatdown.
word going around the forum is you just got outta jail after about a year and a half...I won't say no names but they saying you was getting merked in the ass by a guy name Marco...
did he turn your ass into Taco Meat
Who in here wouldn't inject themselves with a substance that probably won't cause any long-term harm yet gives you a chance to become a millionaire and a celebrity for life?
America has the best record of finding out drug cheats in the world. I'm not American, I make this point from an objective point of view. You won't often catch drug cheats by drug tests. They are too easy to dodge. You find them by investigative work. Marion Jones, Justin Gaitlan, Tim Montgomery, LeShawn Merritt, now Lance Armstrong.
Can you imagine a NBA player risking their $100,000,000 contract/endorsement deals by taking PED's? Would YOU? The people who get caught have two things in common. They have to WIN to get paid. NBA players don't. They also pound the out of a small set of muscles over, and over and over again. What makes most NBA superstars superhuman are their skills.
im guessing the majority of NBA players have been using s like this and i don't ing care. we just watch it for fun and i won't give a if john cena ever used such s to build a stout body.
