Scientifically speaking, the correct answer for not knowing, is "I don't know", and not "I have faith it's there". You basically start off with the presumption something exists and that the only thing to figure out is how to get to it, but there's no real basis to support the presumption.

Now I personally don't have a problem with whatever people fantasize with as long as they don't try to impose such fantasies on me.
