btw. It was one of the best Diaz conferences - you really could understand what he was talking about
pretty calm presser but of course Nick at some point will talk some and it will get more entertaining.

Rory Macdonald forced to withdraw from UFC 158 due to injury
The highly-anticipated Rory MacDonald vs. Carlos Condit rematch is off.
According to sources close to the fight, MacDonald suffered an undisclosed injury in training, which has forced him to withdraw from his fight against Condit at UFC 158.
No opponent has been signed to replace MacDonald against Condit next month. As of now, he is still expected to compete on the card.
UFC 158, headlined by Georges St-Pierre vs. Nick Diaz, will take place March 16 at Bell Centre in Montreal.
Just about to post this, sucks, hopefully it is something he can recover from. Has a bright future, just stay away from Deer Antler Spray...
I read some headline yesterday stating that Diaz has missed 3 primetime scheduled interviews, hopefully this card doesn't turn for the worst.
We are a month out, Dana will do the Diaz/GSP fight nomatter what IMO.. He knows Nick will show up on fight night but blowing off Primetime or Countdown shows hurts the amount of PPV's the card can sell. The gate will be big just because it is GSP in Canada. Diaz may get cut soon from the UFC because he just hates doing any media whatsoever.
Tyron T-Wood Woodley @TWooodley @ufc @danawhite Me vs @carloscondit MAKE IT HAPPEN! I already dusted off @tarecfighter ! I told u if anyone is out my passport is valid!
Arielhelwani: Confirmed w/ multiple sources that it's looking like Condit will now fight Hendricks, who was supposed to fight Ellenberger on the same card
Rory's momentum is halted for a while. I like Condit in the Hendricks fight..
Daman, I was really excited to see McDonald v. Condit. It's good to see Hendrick's getting moved up though, he deserves a shot at Condit, if not GSP. Also, a Woodley-Ellenberger fight would be fun to watch.
Ariel Helwani @arielhelwani The final piece is set. RT @NeilMDavidson: Nate (The Great) Marquardt to fight Jake (The Juggernaut) Ellenberger at @ufc 158.
Damn injured again!
The replacments looks great though.
I would cheer for Rory vs Condit but I'm all in for Carlos in the Hendricks fight.
Diaz missed some interviews on a countdown show. Nvm -the camp said he was not scheduled or aything on the interviwes.
Let the fight happen and we will see from there![]()
- Georges St-Pierre vs. Nick Diaz - Please...
- Carlos Condit vs. Johny Hendricks - Time for a real fighter to expose this bag.
- Colin Fletcher vs. Mike Ricci - Mike needs a rebound/easy fight. This is a no-brainer.
PRELIMINARY (FX, 8 p.m. ET)
- Patrick Cote vs. Bobby Voelker - No reason, other than I like a good story.
- Daron Cruickshank vs. John Makdessi - DC got ed over on the FotN and KOotN last time -- RIP John Makdessi.
Diaz pre fight interview:

I am not convinced Diaz wants this fight anymore. He was so pissed off at the Condit decision and he has been sitting around for basically a year. It is like he wanted to fight GSP badly 2 years ago and was ready to go but now this is happening basically because GSP is not letting him off the hook for all that trash he talked.. I get the feeling he knows he is in for a beating..

At the end, the one guy looked like Anderson Silva, lol, but he wouldn't be training with GSP
