It's a great idea if she loves roses. I like flowers, but I'm not necessarily partial to roses. First thing I did when I moved into this house was pull up 6 rose bushes and replace them with sages and Mountain Laurels.

Its a minuturerose bush tbh.

Its currently sitting on the window sill next to the kitchen sink.

And blooming.

They are goin downhill fast now. They jumped to about 38.5% last night. My g/f will hang them upside down and let'em dryout. She kept the last roses I bought her like that.
