If we really want him, he'll be available in the summer.
What's the point of seeding other front offices with your guys if they won't give you sweetheart deals at the deadline?

Too bad. I really hope they don't go after Boobie Gibson now. I so hope that rumor was major BS.
Wonder if Spurs have a back-up deal working. Obviously i'm not talking about that horrible Boobie proposal either.
last 10 games, Re 's FG % is: .427
last 10 games, Neal's FG % is: .407
Edit: well , nm
Close this thread and call it a night boys. She's a done.
The Spurs still have to remove at least one turd of the turd towers.
Nothing's over until 2 p.m. If it only involves giving up a combo of Bonner, Blair, pick, etc. I hope it gets done...
If it was a simple as Bonner, Blair, or Neal and a pick, the deal would be done. Either they have a better offer, or they want something the Spurs don't want to give up.
I liked JJ a couple of years ago, and the typical Spurs fan at me. Now, he is prime rib.
If the Spurs fell short on their bid to get Re , I'm relieved. I like Re as a shooter, but the fact is he's still an undersized 2-guard and he's not a good defender. The Spurs have that already in Gary Neal.
Re is a better defender then most people seem to think. He's also 10x the defender as Gary Neal. He's also the better shooter as well.
He's also not going to be traded to San Antonio.
gibson would be a welcomed edition ................
would rather have gibson handling the ball in playoffs than neal or de colo .................
Never said he was.
You have got to stop.

Meanwhile, Re trade talks coming down to the wire, per source. Pacers, 76ers, Bucks most interested. Spurs, who were interested, are out
Sounds like the Pacers are out.

Orlando has traded J.J Re to the Bucks, league source tells Y!
Not really. Twitter states he lives in Austin. I'd assume he will look at the Spurs during the off-season even if they can't offer as much as the other teams.
That Re has a home in Austin makes him a plausible offseason target. Maybe he'd give the Spurs a discount. Then again, I wouldn't love him at anything more than $5M/year.
