Sure, if you can get back a 21.31 PER+ guy back for him, why not?
if ur going to trade jax
u might as well trade ginoboli, how much more bull do spurs have to put up with him...whether its injuries or last second plays costing spurs advancing...

for? please don't say another big man...
Josh Smith for Jackson, Blair/Bonner, draft picks and/or money.
they don't want that, what next?
Are you telling me they don't want that or are you asking me what's next in case the Hawks wouldn't have gone for that?
Seeing how they couldn't get anything done, I doubt they would have seen with bad eyes 10 millons on expirings, a decent regular season rotation player, drafts picks and/or cash.
I think Atlanta ed up. Jsmoove isn't re-signing there, they had a deal but pulled out at 2:59. I think they were asking alot from the Rockets, Morey said he would pull the offer, and Atlanta called his bluff. Once he actually pulled it, the Hawks were stuck.
its expiring anyway, could use cap to go after d12...
but josh smith is an expiring anyway, and a bigger one.. they also refused much better deals..
Yeah, but they won't get draft picks and/or cash now that they're stuck with him. What better deals? I didn't have the chance to see anything yet.
Letting him walk for nothing >>>>>>>>>>>> getting Monta Ellis in return for him
what would they do with a san antonio draft pick in a horrible draft, they are betetr off rolling the dice and letting j-smoove finding out that none wants to give him a max deal, then sign him along with howard... that's the idea anyway..
Smith isn't staying, besides why would the Hawks want to sign Howard when they have Horford?
smith-horford-howard is quite fearsome tbh... that is, if you don't value smallballism which atlanta doesn't, i think.. they were playing smith-horford-pachulia for long stretches last year..
