eat your carbs. rice and potatoes are not bad. non sugary cereal is good.
but it's when you fry the rice, or the patatoes, or put all the extra on a baked patato...that's when you screw yourself.
and white bread is a killer too.
just try to cut down when your next week is over. binges will up any diet. and they ALWAYS DO. that's why it's lifestyle change that helps people lose weight, not diets.

You mean the South Diet?
That's one of those diets that involves staying on it indefinitely, like Atkins ... sucks. It's also good to check with a doctor before starting those, because if your kidneys aren't in awesome shape the excess protein doesn't get filtered out and it can make you pretty sick.

Just skip phase 1 and start at phase 2, which is perfectly healthy, imo

Been on Atkins going on my 3rd week now. Lost 24 pounds so far. It is hard though, but getting a little easier each day.

Atkin's is much stricter than South Beach and I've heard it's really messed people up in the long run so be careful!
As for checking with my doctor... I haven't done so because I'm just doing this to lose some belly fatI'm actually not over weight or anything... I just have motivation to be a bit thinner

Just exercise and be conscious of what ur eating. That's the best way to lose weight, IMO.
oR IF ALL else fails and u want immediate results, go on the lean cuisine diet. Replace lunch and dinner with a lean quisine and have a healthy snack in between and eat whatever u want for breakfast. You'll lose 10 pounds in 2 weeks.!![]()
