Spurs only blew a 13 point lead over the last 9 minutes and still at least got their game to OT.
Thunders blew a 14 point lead in 7 minutes and lost in regulation.
Thunders
I couldn't disagree more. Manu had his best game in weeks tonight. Sure, he made some mistakes but he was looking lively out there. It was only during his hottest stretch that Pop pulled him for Neal and the 13 point lead was gone like that.

That's why PGs in general struggle in terms of postseason success...
It really is unfortunately.. and that's exactly what teams are going to start doing to defend him. With our offense being predicated almost entirely on the PnR, it's bad news for us tbh.
Spurs lost on second night of b-2-b at the 6th seed.
Thunders lost on the first night of a 1-in-1 at the 8th seed.
Sure, but to get past OKC, they better find a way to overcome.
No one is panicking, you ain't reading the posts right. Just the 57th game of the season, everybody knows that. But losses suck especially when you know you're better than that team. Oh and the Heat are only 1 game behind us in the loss column. Not so "cushy" is it?
That's kind of my point. Manu had a good game, but he's struggled with injuries, level of play and impact all year. He's been great in some moments, not so great in others and he is critical to the Spurs success.
The more the Spurs see it, the more likely they are to find ways to counter it.
4 games to 2
being backdoor swept
will be exposed by OKC when it matters
TP a MVP candidate and being bothered by Thompson
Best regular season team of all-time
Dp
For those asking, no, Klay Thompson is not a good defender.
But my point is that this is only the beginning for Manu. He's starting to get in a rhythm so I feel positive about his game going forward.
wonder why thunderup has the gall to go upstairs when the Spurs lose tbh.
aint never won . the end.

Yeah, that and Jarret Jack is NOT Michael Jordan.
Embarrassed in the Finals
Crying to Mom
Playing 8 vs 5 and still can't win it at all
Dumbest PG in the game
Frog/Acne the next coming for Stockon/Malone
clinging to a trophy that belongs to another city
Does anyone think we win tonight if Pop put in Jax instead of Neal when we went up by 13?
Don't forget how they lost to the Lk

Pop should've avoided that Neal/Blair combo in the 4th. He could've easily went with another guard out there. Putting Neal on Curry was one of the top 3 reasons the Spurs lost tonight...![]()
Not mad about losing to a team that beat OKC, MIA, and LAC this season.
Head-to-head results shouldn't matter in the playoffs... Cleveland won the season series against San Antonio in 2007... San Antonio beat OKC 2-1 last season...
Sticking bigger guys on TP has ALWAYS bothered him. We all know this, it's no secret. The Thunder did it by putting Sefolosha on him last year. I wouldn't say Klay Thompson shut him down, we also have to remember this was the 3rd game in 4 nights for the Spurs. That, and TP has been carrying the Spurs for almost a month straight now, if not all season...
Tiago Splitter @tiagosplitter
