Les Mis 7/10
Seriously Tom Hooper, can you pull the camera back about a foot and use a ing steadycam? Not every shot needs to be a handheld closeup. The director's camera choices killed this movie's emotional momentum.

Warm Bodies 8.5 / 10
It's not an oscar contender. And it doesn't need to be. Funny, clever take on the zombie genre that is starting to get a little long in the tooth...
Rock Star 3/10
2001 Marky Mark Wahlberg and Jennifer Aniston.
Complete suck ass casting these two as the leads.
Rest of the role players were good choices.
While riding with the "wives and girlfriends" car as the band members toked snorted and fornicated on the Band Bus, the "wives and girlfriends" tried to give Aniston advice. One fairly hot chick said to "let her man do what he wants, rock stars are gonna stray so you go ahead and play some too." Aniston character Emilys response "I hope when i get to be your age I'm not so cynical." The chick talking to Aniston was 22 1/2. Aniston was 32 at the time and they were trying to play her off as rocker babe chick and age sub 21 at that. gawd did they hire a screener for this dump?
Anywho it was mildly entertaining watching the rock star behind the scenes portrayal. For about 30 minutes.
is a good day to die hard good?
whats with all the The Rock movies advertising this year...it looks like he has 4-5 movies coming out or some
nic cage wannabe?
Flight was awesome. 8.5/10
End of Watch was alright. The cartels should've sent some of their own hitmen after the cops like Breaking Bad. The gangbangers shooting them up was anticlimactic. 6.5/10
The Ghost Writer 6.5/10
Mama 8/10.
Wasn't too scary but a good horror flick. Nice to see something other than exorcism movies.
Margin Call - 2011
Too hagiographic for my tastes. the MOTU. Snooze-fest.
4/10
A Good Day to Die Hard...not the best of the bunch but a lot of fun. The first chase scene is a top five movie carnage-fest. Think the crane scene in Terminator 3.
7/10
Zero Dark Thirty.... 8/10.
Who is a worse person in Shame... cheating husband or sex addict..
Silver Linings
9/10
Safe Haven...if I actually watched those movies on Lifetime, I would guess it would be something like this. Predictable(sans one small twist 60 seconds before the movie ended), bad acting, cliche'...you name it. Spent a lot of the time on the phone checking trade deadline news. Took one for the marital team.
3/10
A Bronx Tale - 1993
Hasn't aged well. De Niro's directing debut, and it showed.
5/10
watch tron legacy, look good with only a few colors..
but the 2nd user/programmer Tron who fell into the grid sea...did he end up dieing?
why are movies made 20yrs ago have better graphics then todays bull , especially ones that is made with cgi live action crap
the amount of money and time spent into CGI, when they could just build the crops and get better scenery which makes the movies more realistic....
Zero Dark Thirty - 3.5 Stars
why is it so hard for you to construct a sentence that makes sense?
Shawshank Redemption the last 45 minutes on AMC tonight.
Still good for the 15th time.
I finally got around to watching Ghost Protocol. 2/10. Fake on top of fake on top of fake...
This 110%
I can't stand that CGI crap. I still would much rather take the original American Werewolf in London over how they do the new crap. I hate it.
